Started in 1991, Dining Out For Life (DOFL) is an annual fundraising event involving the generous participation of volunteers, corporate sponsors, and restaurants.
Each year in over 60 cities across the nation, more than 3,000 restaurants participate in Dining Out For Life and donate a portion of their proceeds from this special day of dining, to help raise over $4 million per year for local AIDS service organizations.
Community Research Initiative is proud to host Dining Out For Life Boston!
Community Research Initiative (CRI) is an independent, nonprofit, community-based organization dedicated to leading the way in HIV/AIDS and hepatitis C clinical research and ensuring access to lifesaving HIV medications and health insurance coverage for those in need.
Over the past 28 years, CRI has contributed to the FDA approval of nearly all of the currently available HIV treatments and forever changed the direction of HIV/AIDS treatment around the world.
Through the management of the Massachusetts HIV Drug Assistance Program (HDAP), our clinical research, and outreach and education programs, CRI serves over 10,000 Massachusetts residents infected or affected by HIV/AIDS every single year.
